FSC Wood & Floors

Cape Fear River Wood has been Forest Stewardship Council certified (Chain-of-Custody number SCS-COC-001897). We source many popular hardwoods from certified harvesters then mill them to your specifications. We can source most woods within a 500 mile radius of your site to help contribute points to many green building programs. We mill the wood into high quality tongue and groove flooring, paneling, trim, stair treads, or even special projects. We love to do custom work!

We also provide Riverwood as FSC certified - Recycled.  FSC has not come up with a river-recovered classification yet. However, when we get logs that were used as piling at a shipping site for example, they are post consumer - which allows us to classify them as recycled.
