Welcome to Cape Fear Riverwood

Cape Fear River Wood Products is based in Navassa, North Carolina (a small mill town just 5 miles from downtown Wilmington). Using historical maps, sonar, and a crane, they retrieve old sinker logs that were lost in transit to the mills over 100 years ago. In addition to traditional hardwoods, Cape Fear Riverwood retrieves antique heart pine from old barns and mills that are being torn down. The wood is then milled into traditional tongue and groove flooring, paneling, beams and mantel pieces.

CFRW is committed to promoting green business practices. In that spirit, scrap material is made into adirondack chairs and beautiful butcher block counter-tops. The sawdust is even used by local horse farmers.
